Wattletree DDO Weekly Update - 9 weeks to DDO Day (5 October 2021)

I thought you might like to learn a bit more about Marketsoft, the other half of Wattletree. Wattletree is jointly owned by Mayflower and Marketsoft. Just who is Marketsoft?

Marketsoft - 30 years experience in consumer data

Yep, Marketsoft has been around for a while. And they specialise in consumer data, with all the privacy and IT security requirements that go around that.

In fact Marketsoft already have considerable experience working with large financial services companies, having worked with Amex, Citibank and AMP to name just a few. Plus major retail, FMCG, government, and not-for-profit organisations.

Why do I care that Marketsoft have FMCG clients?

We’re not in Kansas anymore Toto! In FMCG land, turnaround times are tight. We’re talking days, not weeks or months. How are you supposed to manage your fashion or beauty brand if you don’t get the insights you need in time to do something about it? As a result, Wattletree standard turnaround times are a fortnight. Nice.

Plus, in retail land, it’s completely normal not to know much about your customers. So Marketsoft bridges the gap between data and marketing, and helps businesses understand who their customers are and what makes them tick. Sound a bit like Wattletree???

Who’s in charge?

Daniel Cummins. And unlike me, he’s very calm and considered. Just the sort of person you want managing the team that’s handling your precious client data. Here’s his Linkedin profile. Why not connect and say hello?

Want to know more?

Here’s their website. And if you’d like to meet with Dan and understand more about what Marketsoft do and how they do it, just let me know.
